The Next Chapter Outreach Ministry is a volunteer-supported organization dedicated to assisting individuals and families facing transitional or challenging seasons in life. With a mission to establish connections and partnerships, the organization aims to provide resources that inspire hope and ease the burdens of those less fortunate. The Next Chapter TNC welcomes individuals experiencing homelessness, recovering from addiction, single parents in need, and members of underserved communities. The organization encourages community involvement and offers a safe and non-judgmental environment for support. Through various events and initiatives, The Next Chapter TNC aims to promote positivity and meaningful change in the community.

Something you should know…
I am not just a preacher in the church, I am a survivor of the streets. Born and raised in Washington, DC..(Hail to the Redskins) Burgundy and Gold all day long!
Aside from classroom education, I learned much about life after being thrust into the School of Hard Knocks. From teen pregnancy, introduction to mental health trauma and alcohol addiction caring for my both parents and their issues. Though, not the eldest (second born)of four I had to grow up early and care for my siblings.
Be it sexual abuse, domestic violence, drug abuse, homelessness, or abandonment and ultimate betrayal from “so called loved ones”, I experienced it all first hand. This thing called life dealt me countless hands of unfair challenges and hurdles that at times made me feel like I would loose my mind. Two steps forward, followed by what seemed like ten steps back.
However painful my struggles and more often than not, repeated desires to quit.. I would often reflect back on the wisdom of my great-great grandmother who spoke these words in my spirit, “the good Lord would never put more on you than you could bear, no matter how hard it gets never give up!” Her voice in my head and love for my three children fueled my soul to keep going.
So, I stand today 38 years later drug-FREE with a burning desire to give others what I didn’t have, SUPPORT. Offering a hand up to help “YOU” turn the pages of your life, not rewriting your story but creating NEW chapters of life!

On August 9, 2025, The Next Chapter (TNC) Outreach Ministry celebrated its official launch with a powerful day of service and community connection in West Baltimore. What began as a vision rooted in faith and survival came to life through the hands and hearts of those who showed up to serve, share, and spread hope.
This special event was held in partnership with Resurrection Sandtown-Ames Shalom Church and Vee’s Closet, two incredible community pillars whose continued support embodies what it means to work together for the greater good. Their collaboration allowed us to reach more families, provide essential supplies, and remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
From distributing daily-living necessities to offering prayer, encouragement, and fellowship, the launch was a reflection of what TNC stands for — meeting people where they are and helping them turn life’s struggles into new beginnings.
With Deep Gratitude we extend heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, donor, and partner who made this milestone possible.
